Our Westfield leagues feature different game formats based on birth year, helping provide an appropriate playing experience for each age group. Age groups may also be combined based on ability and registration to create competitive matchups.

The Westfield Youth League gives players eight additional competitive games while maintaining an age-appropriate style of play.
With formats ranging from 9v9 to 7v7, players have space to build possession, combine with teammates, attack, defend and make decisions under pressure while continuing to play soccer throughout the winter.
Teams compete against age- and ability-appropriate opponents whenever possible, helping create competitive games for town, travel and club programs.
If age groups are combined, the number of players on the field is based on the youngest age group unless both coaches agree to a different format. Soccer Palace

The winter season gives players an opportunity to continue building their game instead of waiting months for outdoor competition to return.
The Soccer Palace's age-based formats provide younger teams with a larger-sided experience while gradually moving older age groups toward smaller-sided play.
